Edward was survived by his spouse (Mildred) and his two daughters (Caroline and Edna). In addition to his parents, Edward was also survived by two brothers (Joseph and John). Joseph was a discharged veteran of the European war. He was also survived by four sisters (Mrs. Margaret McGarry, Mrs. Anna Dames, Miss Lelia and Miss Mary Kathryn, all of Cincinnati).
