My dear Mrs. White,

Your letter of October 30th concerning insurance you believed was carried by your husband, Earl Clarence White, Turret Captain first class, reached me day before yesterday.

I have asked the Insurance Section here in the Bureau of Naval Personnel, room 1833, Arlington Annex, Washington, D. C., to investigate the case. Just as soon as this information becomes available it will be forwarded to direct to you.

Sincerely yours,

CHAS. B. McVAY, III
